YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

We’re seeking an experienced MarTech professional with a genuine excitement for CRM.

  • Passion for CRM: Genuine enthusiasm for CRM and understanding how data and digital channels can enhance customer relationships, leading to increased sales and loyalty.
  • MarTech Proficiency: Experience with marketing technology tools and customer data platforms, including implementation and optimization, as well as experience in the use of triggers, sequencing, contact selection, open contextual and multi-variant testing.
  • Data Proficiency: Proven ability to work with data management and analysis. Understanding how data flows through the MarTech stack and why each element is chosen is essential.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to successfully deliver projects from initiation to desired results.
  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in creating clear and compelling briefs for creative teams and stakeholders.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and preferably one or more Nordic languages.

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

As a key member of the CRM team, the Senior MarTech Manager will play a vital role in evolving and optimizing our CRM activities through advanced MarTech strategies.
This position focuses on enhancing existing customer journeys while implementing new segmented, value-adding journeys to maximize customer retention across all touchpoints. You will in the role support the implementation and optimization of a MarTech solution in Specsavers Northern Europe, defining CRM requirements for data and system integrations. Alongside this implementation, the role also involves identifying gaps and opportunities within customer journeys, using insights to inform data-driven decisions and enhance personalization.
At Specsavers, the goal is to engage, retain, and grow our existing customer base through various channels, leveraging data to target customers effectively. The Senior MarTech Manager will plan, manage, and execute multi-channel CRM campaigns, overseeing content development, design, and testing. By utilizing the new MarTech setup, the manager will drive deeper insights into customer behaviour, improving campaign performance and customer satisfaction.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • CRM Strategy Development: Enhance the CRM program using customer data to boost loyalty and retention.
  • MarTech Implementation: Support the implementation of a MarTech solution to enhance CRM capabilities, ensuring integration and effective data usage, as well as onboarding initial use cases to prove value add.
  • Campaign Implementation: Ability to set up and manage multi-channel campaigns with both CDP but also marketing automation platforms as well as experience using real-time data activation features to enhance campaign performance (e.g. Conversion APIs or onsite personalisation).
  • Data Collaboration: Define segmentation and data needs in collaboration with digital and data teams, as well as experience with database management, list segmentation, audience profiling and contact targeting.
  • Continuous Optimization: Foster a test-and-learn culture for ongoing campaign improvement.
  • Creative Briefing: Guide the internal creative agency on effective customer communications.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor analytics to recommend improvements and cost-saving strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with global teams across various departments for cohesive strategy execution.

In the role you’ll report directly to Katrine Rasmussen, Head of CRM, Northern Europe.
Occasional travel within the region is to be expected in the role.
