POSITION SUMMARY: This role supports the end-to-end flow of materials within the materials management department, including receiving, storing, inventory control, and order fulfillment. The position ensures accurate documentation, efficient coordination between locations, and adherence to FIFO and safety standards. Additionally, it provides team support through training, guidance, and problem resolution while maintaining organized, compliant, and efficient warehouse operations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and participate in activities related to unloading, moving, storing, and pulling transfer materials, supplies, and equipment for shipping within the materials management department. •Follow packing lists, shipping orders, and verbal instructions. •Assist in organizing and maintaining workflow and ensure equipment is properly maintained. •Provide guidance, direction, and assistance to team members, resolving issues and training new employees. •Receive incoming transfer materials, perform checks, report discrepancies, and store items according to FIFO principles. •Fulfill orders, prepare shipments, and ensure accurate documentation and labeling. •Maintain precise inventory records, coordinate schedules between plants, and ensure efficient material flow. •Operate lift equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to proper lifting techniques and safety protocols. •Report equipment malfunctions, material defects, and safety concerns to supervision promptly. •Adhere to safety regulations, maintain a tidy work area, and uphold proper tool and equipment usage. •Perform additional tasks as assigned.
