We have an exceptional opportunity for a: Senior Mechanic JOB SUMMARY: Set-up machines are responsible for unless otherwise notified. To maintain and keep all equipment under their supervision in proper working order. To help in other areas or phases concerning equipment or maintenance throughout the plant. Requirements DUTIES & FUNCTIONS: Essential: To set up and verify jobs according to the worksheet in hand. To zero machines in at the time of each setup with at minimum of a 1000 pcs. To get approval from the customer service rep. when the job is set up. To maintain all equipment responsible for in perfect working order. This includes cleaning and lubrication as well as repairs. To trouble-shoot all machines which he/she is responsible. To answer any operator questions pertaining to the equipment which is being worked on. To work in other areas concerning maintenance of equipment and building not related to their primary job function. To help keep their area clean. To check back with operators that have had earlier problems to make sure he/she is alright.To anticipate any needs an operator may need. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: Education & Experience: Experience in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior Mechanic is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting printing and mailing equipment to ensure optimal performance. They also provide support to machine operators and assist with general plant maintenance tasks.
