Job Description
Vention is looking for a Senior Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic Operations team! In this leadership role you will be responsible for assembling high-quality sub-assemblies and productized applications while ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do
- Meet production goals and uphold Vention’s high standards.
- Assemble a variety of components, from simple to complex, including palletizers, conveyors, robot cells, machine tending applications, and safety enclosures based on engineering instructions.
- Build and integrate automation components to complete custom automation designs.
- Conduct quality control checks before shipping to ensure all products meet Vention’s high standards.
- Pick and pack orders in accordance with Vention’s quality standards.
- Identify and report discrepancies or missing information to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Support team members in troubleshooting mechanical or process-related issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by optimizing integration and warehouse processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of pneumatics and electrical connections.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a fast-paced work environment, with technical experience.
- Technical diploma in mechanical engineering, robotics, or relevant hands-on experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with using tools, including familiarity with pneumatics and electrical connections.
- Experience with data entry or relevant administrative tasks.
- Proven track record in problem-solving and the ability to coach others through challenges.
- Exceptional attention to detail to uphold customer satisfaction and product quality.
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills
