We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Dublin or Cork team. This role requires expertise in European data centres and mission-critical projects.
The ideal candidate will have an EU Passport or valid work permit.

Responsibilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead large-scale projects, managing mechanical and electrical engineering services across various building types.
  • Develop and specify controls, instruments, and operating systems for building engineering applications.
  • Conduct surveys, testing, and reports on existing mechanical and electrical installations.
  • Ensure construction, installation, and testing align with specifications and client needs.
  • Make key project decisions, liaise with clients, and provide expert advice.
  • Represent the company at technical meetings with clients, teams, and contractors.
  • Perform and validate engineering calculations and designs to meet industry standards.
  • Coordinate engineering services with a holistic approach to integration and design.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSc/BEng (or equivalent) in Engineering or substantial industry experience.
  • MCIBSE/MIEE or HNC/HND with relevant experience.
  • Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
  • Strong experience in mechanical and electrical design across multiple sectors.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, BS standards, and industry codes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software.
  • Excellent project management, organisational, and presentation skills.
  • Consulting or construction background preferred.
  • Experience in international projects and global consultancy operations.
  • Commitment to ethical and professional standards.
