Description

WE HAVE AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER TO JOIN OUR BUSINESS AS WE CONTINUE TO SCALE.

This role will be responsible for defining optimal design solutions and physical systems that integrate with sophisticated electro-magnetic devices.

WHO WE ARE

ENODA’s world-class team are building the first truly decentralized, intelligent energy system that will reshape how we generate, store, and distribute energy.
Foundational to our holistic and integrated platform approach, the Enoda PRIME® Exchanger, is first-of-a-kind dynamic power flow hardware designed to maintain “on-target” frequency and voltage, increasing grid efficiency and capacity for distributed energy sources like renewables and EVs.
Enoda ENSEMBLE™ is our ecosystem co-ordinator of ENODA and third-party assets, able to forecast, aggregate, and bid capacity in real time, functioning as a networked “operating system” for the electrical grid.
This is more than simply managing electricity flow. It is about creating the foundational system to prepare for a radically more capable, prosperous, and intelligent future.

THE KEY EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proven track record of success as a Mechanical Engineer in a relevant field
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks modelling, Ansys simulation packages and Windchill PLM
  • Additional expertise in 2D and 3D drawing for complex, regulated systems
  • Solid understanding and practical application of design engineering principles and requirements analysis
  • In depth knowledge of static and dynamic simulation modelling, coupled with strong capabilities in vibration and harmonics analysis, fatigue life prediction and thermal performance modelling
  • Demonstrated experience applying failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and fatigue analysis to mechanical systems
  • Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field

The following would be advantageous:

  • Experience working within a highly regulated industry
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience with experimental vibration and fatigue testing, modal analysis, and thermography
