We’re seeking a passionate Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to take on an exciting role in designing state-of-the-art conveyors and conveyor systems tailored to meet customer specifications and scope. Role Highlights: As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll dive into the heart of innovation, playing a pivotal role in: Designing and engineering equipment to precise specifications. Crafting comprehensive, accurate 3D models using Autodesk Inventor. Generating detailed assembly and fabrication drawings along with bills of material. Facilitating project readiness for order release from the engineering phase. Providing invaluable engineering and design support to our sales team as needed. Offering technical assistance to both our sales department and customers through various communication channels. Skillfully troubleshooting technical challenges, collaborating closely with customers, suppliers, and internal production teams. Creating comprehensive equipment manuals and essential project documentation. Requirements Requirements and Qualifications: Do you possess the following qualifications and attributes? 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Proficiency in 3D modeling software and a keen eye for detail. Exceptional mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Self-motivation with an ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a keen focus on responsibilities. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, to convey technical concepts effectively. Be reliable, be willing and able to learn new things, be excited to work within a good group of engineers. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with the following would be given preference: Experience in designing automated machinery and conveyor systems. Understanding of the manufacturing process and familiarity with Visual Basic and automation controls. Knowledge of Electrical and Pneumatic systems.
