Role Purpose: Mechanical Designers will be responsible for carrying out a variety of engineering duties including designing, researching, and prototyping new products/designs. They will collaborate across departments on various design projects, using in-depth knowledge of the latest design trends and engineering software.
Reports To: Engineering Manager
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Postsecondary degree or diploma in engineering or a related field
Previous engineering experience, including good understanding of the following (an asset):
SoildWorks, SolidWorks PDM, AutoCAD, and 3D drafting
Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Electrical systems as it applies to machine building and equipment
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
