There are three primary areas of focus for this role:

Business Development/Project Inception: significant contribution to the business development activities of MEP team (Mechanical Services & Sustainable development) through the following: -The promotion of the relevant businesses

• Success in development and procurement of worthwhile projects to ensure the maintenance of workflow, not only to the MEP team but also to other teams across the Division

Technical/Project Management: As part of the MEP team, to provide input into the overall running of projects (particularly in the Mechanical Services area) to ensure successful project delivery, and the ongoing development of the Team’s effective project management and technical capability.
Managerial: To contribute to the strategic development of the MEP business, including (but not limited to) the positioning of the business within the local marketplace, business plan development and evaluation, and the ongoing development of associated skills and procedures within the Unit.

• Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
• At least 8 to 10 years of detailed mechanical design experience with an engineering consultancy.
• Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
• Good working knowledge of relevant local and international legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments with effective written communication and report writing skills.
