This role involves managing mechanical work packages within the Building Services segment. Ko wai koe | About you We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer who meets the following criteria: You enjoy getting involved in technical delivery in Building Services, with a minimum of 5-6 years' experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, including at least 2-3 years in a consulting role. You work effectively within project teams, demonstrating a proactive and positive problem-solving approach. You can develop the technical expertise of junior mechanical engineers to support project delivery. You have demonstrated capability in developing and delivering mechanical HVAC design from inception through detailed design, and on to construction monitoring to practical completion with fine-tuning. Your experience includes the use of load estimation tools such as Carrier E-20 or IES, and familiarity with design communication software such as Bluebeam and Revit. You are familiar with relevant international standards for mechanical HVAC building services, as well as recognised industry guidance such as CIBSE or ASHRAE. If your consulting background is in New Zealand, you are familiar with local building codes and seismic design requirements.
