You will be working as mechanical engineer in the Public Address engineering department.
We provide our customers with high quality products with rewarded industrial designs and with high durability. The development starts with a business need and via our Product Engineering Process this results in ideas, requirements, samples and finally to series production. The multi-disciplinary international teams work closely together with our manufacturing plant in Ovar and Zhuhai to achieve a high-quality product for our customers. The Senior mechanical engineer contributes on creative concepts for the product design and realizing these ideas into feasible products.
Job Description

Your Role as an Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Develops, tests and documents the mechanical designs from concept until they meet all requirements and comply to all relevant regulations
• Create new concepts based on theoretical calculations, proven technology and/or prototypes
• Support stakeholders, eg (system) architects in making the right decisions based on risk management.
• Make transparent technical choices vs requirements and trade-off scenarios
• Design and modify 3D-models and 2D-drawings in CREO for manufacturing of components and the assembly of products.
• Make a work breakdown and estimate the development effort and the product costs and commits to agreed product costs and planning of the mechanical activities in a project.
• Define test plans, performs testing and writes test reports.
• Evaluate components from suppliers.
• Actively prepare and participate in technical project milestones
• Stay up to date in the field of mechanical engineering and manufacturing and with relevant domain related technologies and standards
