Description:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and delivering mechanical projects with values ranging from €500k to €20 million.
You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to project completion and handover. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate closely with the BIM and project management teams, and be part of a progressive and forward-thinking company.
You will be based in our Dublin office, working on medium to high-density residential, commercial, educational, and energy projects.

SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER SKILLS:

  • Oversee the mechanical design, installation, and commissioning of complex building services projects.
  • Coordinate all mechanical design documents, drawings, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement of mechanical plant and materials.
  • Identify and implement value engineering opportunities to optimize project delivery.
  • Attend project meetings, providing updates and input on mechanical engineering aspects.
  • Collaborate with the BIM team to review coordinated drawings and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Manage the technical submission process, including pricing variations and preparing project reports.
  • Ensure compliance with BCAR (Building Control Amendment Regulations) and oversee project handover processes.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, monitor their performance, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Manage commissioning activities, including sequencing and quality assurance.
  • Compile and issue comprehensive O&M manuals upon project completion.
