This is a hybrid position. The incumbent Senior Mechanical Engineer/Designer will primarily work from home and work in our office, or at a client site, on an as-needed basis.

TO QUALIFY FOR APPLICATION:

The successful Senior Mechanical Engineer/Designer candidate should have:

• BSME (or equivalent experience)
• 8-15 years’ experience in the commercial A/E engineering field
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems in healthcare, educational, and commercial sectors.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards

Preferred qualifications include:

• PE Licensed
• LEED® Accreditation
• Working Autodesk® REVIT knowledge
• Working Trane® Trace 700 knowledge
• Working knowledge of IES for load and energy modelin

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer/ Designer at Interface, you will be taking ownership as a discipline leader on multiple projects. Your duties will include (but may not be limited to):

• Be responsible for HVAC system selection, engineering & design.
• Preparation of HVAC drawings, sketches, analysis, specifications and calculations.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Provide oversight of HVAC support staff.
• Provide construction administration & site observations related to your projects.
• Provide exemplary service to team members and clients.

Interface Benefits and Perks:

• Highly competitive total compensation packages. The annual salary range for this position is $95k to $119k.
• Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. Interface pays 80% of employee-only medical premiums, or 80% of medical premiums for employee + dependents. Interface pays 100% of employee dental and vision premiums, and 80% of dental and vision premiums for employee + dependents.
