WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, Team Lead, your role as Senior Mechanical Engineer will work closely with an engineering team on new product development and optimization and provide knowledgeable support to a multi-disciplinary Engineering Service team. You will engage with customer problems first-hand to rationalize probable solutions and then build solutions. The role will be hands-on with the tools required, to rapidly evolve results, with particular attention to detail and with dedication to completing solutions, attaining milestones and meeting deadlines.
The role centers on leading the design and development of advanced mechanical systems, particularly for use in harsh marine and defense environments. Core responsibilities include developing equipment such as winches, launch and recovery systems, and other electromechanical assemblies, with flexibility to contribute to a broader range of projects including custom manufacturing equipment and specialized product designs.
