ENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the design, analysis, and costing of electronic products and assemblies. This role focuses on design-for-manufacturability, cost optimization, and quality improvement, while providing technical support to procurement, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in electronics or related manufacturing.
• Strong background in plastics, metals, casting, stamping, and tooling.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks; DFMA and additional design tools are assets.
• Experience with DFM, tolerance stack-up, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO environments is preferred.

• Lead mechanical design, tolerance analysis, and cost evaluations for components and assemblies.
• Provide technical input on materials, processes, and manufacturing methods.
• Support supplier and procurement teams with specifications and design feedback.
• Contribute to packaging, PCB panel, and fixture design (including 3D printing).
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
