JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering principles and practices, with a focus on system design and root cause analysis. This role requires proficiency in various engineering software and tools, as well as the ability to lead projects from conception through to completion.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in mechanical design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Revit & AutoCAD, along with experience in IESVE for thermal modelling.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical knowledge, including materials science and thermodynamics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in conducting root cause analysis for complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical & public health systems and components using CAD software, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement effective solutions in existing systems.
  • Utilise Revit and IES for modelling, simulation, and analysis of mechanical designs.
  • Create and interpret schematics, ensuring accurate representation of system designs.
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices in mechanical design and engineering methodologies.
