Description
Company Description We connect growth-minded companies with high-impact professionals who drive real results. Whether you're building a team or building a career, our approach is precise, people-first, and built for long-term success. We don’t do buzzwords—we do outcomes. Job Description Senior Mechanical Engineer | Large-Scale Kinetic Systems Location: Orlando, FL (On-site/Field) Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 + Benefits Expertise: 10+ Years Experience | SolidWorks | High-Duty Cycle Systems The Opportunity Our client, a premier global engineering group, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of complex, large-scale mechanical systems that move. This isn't just about static components—this is about high-complexity, safety-critical kinetic systems that involve motion, hydraulics, and pneumatics. If you are a "blank-sheet" designer who loves seeing a concept move from a 3D model to a fully commissioned, massive-scale installation, this is your next challenge. The Mission: Concept to Commissioning You won't just be a "cog in the machine." You will own the mechanical integrity of high-profile projects: Blank-Sheet Design: Lead the design of mechanical systems from scratch (concept → modeling → analysis). High-Stakes Analysis: Perform critical stress, fatigue, reliability, and life-expectancy calculations for systems with high duty cycles. Safety-First Engineering: Conduct FMEA and design redundant safety mitigations for safety-critical systems. Multidisciplinary Integration: Collaborate with Controls, Automation, and Structural teams to ensure seamless system functionality. Hands-on Field Work: Support the installation and commissioning phases—seeing your designs come to life in industrial and construction environments. Qualifications Who You Are 10+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on "from scratch" design. Deeply proficient in SolidWorks and GD&T, with a strong grasp of ASTM standards and safety engineering. Experienced in designing pneumatic and hydraulic systems for complex machinery. Comfortable managing vendor scopes and verifying that contract requirements meet safety and functional standards. Additional Information Work on Iconic Projects: Your designs will be part of large-scale systems in the entertainment and manufacturing sectors. Technical Growth: Tackle some of the most complex mechanical challenges in the industry. Stability & Impact: Join a major engineering group with a deep pipeline of high-complexity projects. Orlando-Based: Be at the heart of the world’s hub for themed entertainment and advanced kinetic engineering. Ready to Design the Extraordinary? If you have the technical depth and the drive to lead world-class mechanical projects, let’s talk. To Apply: Submit your resume or reach out to the CRD Careers team for a confidential discussion: Contact: Yolie Correa (Talent Manager) Phone: 407.436.9060 (Call or Text) Compensation: USD95000 - USD120000 - yearly
