What you’ll doYou join a multidisciplinary team on a challenging project in the development of industrial machinery and systems, focused on material-related processes such as fusion technology and salt-based applications. The setting is heavy-industrial and machine-building rather than semiconductor. As a senior technical advisor, you work independently and take a pragmatic, hands-on approach to turning requirements into robust engineering solutions.Develop mechanical concepts and technical solutions for industrial applications
Support feasibility studies, design activities and implementation
Apply material science and process technology knowledge to complex engineering challenges
Identify technical risks and contribute to effective solutions
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Support testing, validation and commissioning activities

What you bringBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
8+ years of experience in machine building, industrial engineering or the process industry
Proven knowledge of piping design for high temperatures (up to 900 °C) and high pressures
Strong background in mechanical design and system integration
Knowledge of material science, fusion technologies and/or salt-based processes is highly desirable
