Description

YOUR MISSION

  • Compile the requirements and on this basis design the detailed aircraft parts
  • Design production aids, jigs, tools, molds
  • Consider manufacturability of all parts and assemblies
  • Create all deliverables like drawings, work instructions, and teaching/showing the production the planned process
  • Build and test prototypes of parts and assemblies (e.g. rapid prototyped parts, fibre reinforced plastic parts)
  • Calculate/analyse preliminary/basic design of an aircraft, loads, stress, balance and weight, flight mechanics, aerodynamics, power consumption, etc.
  • Create and take care of assembly structure and PLM system
  • Coordinate with other departments, suppliers and manufactures (also in design loops)
  • Set orders of parts for prototypes and preliminary production
