The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be report to Engineering & Technology, responsible for overall development, implementation, for mechanical capital and engineering in Thailand. They will ensuring develop strategic business cases ensuring equipment technology is fit for purpose and meets market requirements and establish management and maintenance of Mechanical Engineering standards align across ASEAN projects. While they continually reviewing capital portfolio and lead for mechanical engineering talent pipeline in Thailand. What you will do: Project management and delivery support within mechanical engineering Managing the governance of mechanical engineering standards for Thailand projects Contribute to design process, project engineering management and commissioning process from mechanical perspective. Mechanical equipment strategy and standardization across the ASEAN Region to improve scalability and optimization of resources. Ensure all OEM equipment and engineering quality meets the Mechanical Engineering standards and support local team in compliance of local regulations Resource management including capability uplift in Country End-to-end talent management of Mechanical Engineering skill pool. Safety- zero harm What you will need: Required Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering Mechanical Engineering qualification with 7+years professional experience. Proven Experience in Mechanical Equipment Design and Manufacturing with a capability to design, analyze and implement strategic upgrades for heavy Metal industry. Proven Experience in understanding of implementation of mechanical design concept in Hydraulics system, Bearing applications and selection, Machine Design, Material selection and application, Gear Box and Transmission systems, etc.. Demonstrated effective change leadership across a global, multicultural functional organization. Effective facilitator and coach Strong oral, written, and presentation skills on technical and non-technical topics, to audiences across all levels of the organization Proficiency in English Preferred Qualifications and experience: Desirable Experience in Mechanical equipment design & manufacturing for Cold Rolling Mills, Strip Processing Line / Color Paint Line/ Furnaces.
