Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Nationwide (US based, remote with up to 10% travel)
My client, a renowned MEP & Technology consulting firm, is looking to add a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on Hyperscale data center projects, as the firm has recently secured several high-value contracts in this space.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• 13+ years of experience in Mechanical engineering
• Deep knowledge of HVAC and mechanical system design
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and load calculation/ energy modeling tools
• Ability to develop hydronic flow diagrams and select HVAC components
• Experience with DDC/controls and fire protection system coordination

• Lead full-cycle mechanical design for mission critical facilities, including HVAC and load/energy analysis
• Produce and review design documentation using AutoCAD and Revit
• Develop project proposals, specifications, and control sequences
• Manage project resources, schedules, and deliverables
• Conduct QA/QC reviews and oversee design team coordination
• Lead construction-phase tasks including site surveys, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Serve as primary client contact and ensure alignment with project goals and standards
• Support business development, marketing, and technical publication efforts
• Mentor junior engineers and support training, hiring, and standards development
