QUALIFICATIONS

• Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design skills
• Generate BOM (Bill of Materials) for production
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
• Experience with FEA analysis and preparation of comprehensive reports
• Utilise SolidWorks for 3D modelling & design
• Project Management experience
• Experience in Research and Development (R&D)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required
• Industry experience in farm, plant, quarry, transport, agri-products, or forestry is beneficial

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Engineer located in County Laois, Ireland. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing machinery, utilising Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, managing projects, and leading research and development initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed machine designs, managing project timelines, and coordinating with other engineering teams to ensure high-quality production standards.
