Job Description Are you ready to take the lead in engineering excellence? At Rotork, we’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our high-performing team and help shape the future of innovative design. What You’ll Do As a Senior Engineer, you’ll be a technical role model—bringing expertise, reliability, and a proactive mindset to every project. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle, applying continuous improvement techniques and driving best practices to deliver high-quality outcomes on time. Your responsibilities will include: Acting as a positive influence within the team, fostering collaboration and respect. Mentoring colleagues and sharing knowledge to build capability. Leading design reviews and ensuring compliance with specifications and standards. Managing elements of project plans and influencing timelines for successful delivery. Developing cost estimates and presenting solutions to stakeholders. Executing functional and non-functional testing to meet requirements. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in mechanical design, including creating drawings and 3D models. Proficiency with Solid Edge (or similar CAD software). Strong understanding of the full product development lifecycle. Ability to provide informal guidance and support without direct line management responsibility. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Product design, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience. Previous design experience with gear and drive train design, motors, mechanical engineering, drawing and 3D models (Solid edge is our main Software package). Proven experience of analysing, designing, testing, debugging, and enhancing existing/new products used in an industrial environment. Willingness to travel if required. Department: Engineering
