Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in one of our Scotland offices – whilst also taking advantage of work from home days through our hybrid work approach. Here's what you'll do: Prepare feasibility studies, outline design, detailed design and construction support Produce Plant layouts, design drawings and mechanical plant selection including specifications, WIMES Data Sheets, Valve schedules, Equipment Schedules, lifting strategies, hydraulic headloss calculations and P&IDs. For Water Projects Liaise and collaborate with our water and other discipline teams including civil, electrical, process and mechanical engineers nationwide Visit site to carry surveys and support of liaisons with clients, contractors & suppliers Attend and contribute design review meeting such as HAZOPs, HAZIDs, ALMs and SWIFTS Line Manage and mentor Junior and Graduate Mechanical Engineers Complete Checking of Mechanical Deliverables produced by other Engineers Enjoy the Perks. Qualifications Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?
