This senior position plays a key role in developing accurate, competitive tenders for mechanical and building services projects.
Reporting to the Head of Estimating & Sales, you’ll help shape winning bids and ensure strong financial control from tender to project handover.
Location: Greenford, West London (and surrounding areas)
Salary: between £85,000 - 90,000 depending on experience
Benefits: 28 days holiday, 5% pension

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare and submit tenders, ensuring solid cost bases and minimal risk
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather true market costs
  • Support pre-construction processes, including value engineering and cost analysis
  • Assist with the development of estimating systems, cost libraries, and best practices
  • Train and mentor junior estimators as part of a growing team

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator (ideally senior level) in the building services/M&E sector
  • Strong knowledge of estimating processes, take-offs, margins, and commercial management
  • Skilled communicator, able to negotiate confidently with stakeholders at all levels
  • Competent with estimating software and Excel
  • Ability to assess site conditions and read technical drawings/specifications
