Are you a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with a passion for delivering sustainable, technically sound building services solutions? We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Services Engineer to join our dynamic Project Design & Delivery (PDD) Team within Property and Infrastructure.
In this role, you will work closely with the Building Services Engineering Manager and other construction professionals to lead the mechanical services design on a wide range of building projects. These include LBC schools, corporate offices, housing, and community assets.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring that all assigned projects meet technical, environmental, sustainability, programme, and financial criteria - while contributing to the ongoing development of our built environment.

Responsibilities
  • Leading on the mechanical design aspects of building projects from concept through to completion
  • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineers, and project managers
  • Supporting the delivery of high-quality, sustainable mechanical systems in new and existing buildings. This includes public health systems and heating cooling and ventilation systems (HVAC).
  • Ensuring designs comply with current regulations, best practice, and council standards
  • Contributing to feasibility studies, design reports, and tender documentation
  • Helping to manage project budgets and timelines in alignment with overall delivery goals
