Job Description ▪ Develops innovative solutions, concepts for mechanical design projects. Participates in the development of patents. Apply cross-domain expertise. ▪ Significantly contributes to definition of technical standards and drives the implementation of new standards, technologies and methods actively. ▪ Creates generic solutions and derives, publishes and promotes design patterns and best practices. ▪ Contributes to process improvement and definition. ▪ Knows and adheres to the defined development processes. ▪ Participates in project management activities by planning and estimating and defining own and others' workpackages. ▪ Regularly reports status and deviations (delays, process deviations) to project responsibles. ▪ Collaborates with Project Responsible and/or QA in verifying results ▪ Interface to the customer (end customer, project team) with a high degree of expertise. ▪ Communicates with project team in order to exchange information and identify improvement opportunities. ▪ Acts as a Reviewer and Counselor for others' work products ▪ Internal / external presentation of project results and reports ▪ As a key expert, actively promotes and drives know-how build-up in his area of expertise and with other experts ▪ Guides and coaches colleagues in own technical field of expertise ▪ Participating in knowledge sharing communities ▪ Actively drives knowledge sharing process ▪ Develops training concepts and develops and delivers trainings in a specific field ▪ Actively drives training process Qualifications 1-University Studies and/ or Degree (Mechanics, TCM) 2-Good knowledge of English language 3-Knowledge of design guidelines and technology/ Knowledge of PDM tools (SAP PLM)/ Knowledge of design and manufacturing of mechanical parts (for automotive industry)/Knowledge of tooling/Knowledge of material strength and fluid flow/Industry / client know-how (strategies, technologies, business perspectives)/Knowledge in design to cost (DTC) (manufacturing, parts, technology,…)/Knowledge of product development process and versioning/Knowledge of CAD tools like: Catia, Pro E, Mechanical Desktop, Solid works, Acad/Knowledge of tolerance calculation and drawing standards Additional Information Ready to take your career to the next level?
