eSafety requires a senior media and communications advisor with outstanding writing, media relations and issues management skills. Experience in fast-paced and issues-rich environments is essential, and government experience is preferred.
Working closely with the Manager of Media & Corporate Communications, you will be responsible for providing high-level media advice to the Commissioner and staff of eSafety. You will work with executive and section leaders in delivering strategic and targeted media strategies across eSafety’s diverse programs and initiatives.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience developing a range of communications materials, including detailed plans, media releases, speeches and talking points. You will be adept at managing relationships with external and internal stakeholders, using problem-solving abilities to operate in a high-pressure environment and manage competing demands.
