Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Participates in settlement negotiations in order to bring cases to resolution and minimize company risk and investor losses.
  • Answers inbound inquiries from borrowers/attorneys regarding status of loss mitigation, loan modification, short sale, DIL and FB plans.
  • Conducts outbound calls to borrowers/attorneys to gain an understanding of the borrower’s specific situation, to request additional documentation/information and to inform/notify borrowers/attorneys of decisions as they are made.
  • Identifies and requests the appropriate documents required for loan mitigation review per investor guidelines.
  • Accesses information on multiple systems to inform borrowers/attorneys of loan terms.
  • Communicates and coordinates with multiple departments informing the borrowers/attorneys of current status, options, important dates, next steps and deadlines.
  • Ensures necessary information and completes packages are received in a timely manner, maintained, tracked and logged into Sara.
  • Works with attorneys and borrowers to get loan modifications signed and closed; to obtain broker information for short sale process; provide information to attorneys and borrowers as needed.
  • Works effectively in a team environment in an effort to achieve team/volume goals and provide superior customer service.
  • Escalates issues to management when necessary to ensure quality service.
  • Documents all loss mitigation efforts and mediation appearance results.
  • Represents the Company as a corporate representative/witness at in-person hearings, mediations, trials, and depositions.
  • Is available for occasional travel throughout the State of Florida and across the United States.
  • Signs affidavits and verifications in response to contested cases, litigated cases, and discovery requests including motions for summary judgments, requesting for production, request for interrogatories, and request for admissions. Works with case managers and foreclosure specialists to process document signing requests
