Description

For the purpose of this vacancy, internal candidates are considered first-tier candidates. Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the direct supervision of the Chief Migration Health Officer and Head of Sub-Office (CMHO/HoSO), the successful candidate will be responsible for the carrying out the following duties and responsibilities in relation to the Migration Health Assessment Centres (MHACs) in Viet Nam, with a focus on migration health informatics (MHI) and data management. In particular, the successful candidate will implement migration health informatics and data management services, training, conduct duty travel, and support for all IOM MHACs in Viet Nam, utilizing corporate software applications with medical components. The candidate will play a major role in user support related to MHI data validation and reporting obligations; assist in developing and maintaining the MHI documentation system, application requirements gathering, process and systems analysis for medical applications, training of staff; participate in testing of new software; and support the team’s efforts in providing input to research reports and health studies.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will implement migration health informatics and data management services for IOM MHACs in Viet Nam. Responsibilities include user support for data validation, maintaining documentation systems, and assisting in software testing.
