DESCRIPTION

The Senior Medical Assistant licensed provides support and clinic coordination of multiple patient care services, exercising independence in the planning and accomplishment of a wide spectrum of clerical duties.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Coursework/Training - Graduate of certified medical assistant program
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 1 year of medical assistant experience in a healthcare setting required (i.e. physician’s office, scheduler, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with emphasis in Health Care
• Experienced in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations
• Experience with Epic
