Job Description The Medical Program Lead role sits within Medical Affairs and Clinical Development Team (MACD) to lead a cross-functional MACD team to develop and execute the Global Medical strategy for the compound. The role will represent MACD at the Medicine Development Team (MDT) and the Core Asset Team (CAT). Key Responsabilities Oversee the global medical strategy for Haemophilia products including but not limited to: Medical plans as captured in the Brand Plans Integrated Evidence Generation, Publication, and Communications Plans Management of global KOLs and educational & promotional events Scientific communication External and internal training and materials Provide medical and scientific input to clinical studies, study analyses, publications, and promotional materials. Serve as Medical Monitor/Study physician for Phase III-IV trials Act as the Global Medical Affairs main point of contact for the local country medical teams. Ensure excellence in allocation of resources, operational execution, and financial tracking to ensure timely and cost- effective development and execution of Global Medical Affairs strategies and tactics. Interact with experts in the field to obtain feedback on clinical aspects of global products and new data generation, interpretation, and dissemination. Qualifications Education/Learning Experience/Work Experience MD or PhD with at least 8 years of experience in Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry is desired. Experience in a Global Medical Affairs role is required. Experience in developing and implementing a global medical strategy for commercialized and pre-launch products with the aim of advancing science for the improvement of patient’s well-being Skills/Knowledge/Languages Demonstrated ability to evaluate medical/scientific literature accurately and effectively Ability to build strong relationships with co-workers of various backgrounds and expertise Ability to function at a high level in a team setting whether leading the group or acting as an individual contributor Proven leadership skills in a cross-functional global team environment Ability to interact externally and internally to support global business strategy Expert knowledge in a relevant therapeutic specialty Hematology rare disease knowledge is required with preference for haemophilia-specific experience.
