We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Performing teaching and learning activities, including preparing and developing teaching materials, delivering lecture, tutorials, and laboratory classes; Supporting all aspects of academic activities through course planning, development, coordination and delivery in related discipline(s); Providing clinical teaching to students and support clinical practicum in hospitals; Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research project(s); Participating in programme development and accreditation exercises; Providing training and supervising laboratory staff to prepare the necessary materials and equipment for setting up laboratory class; Writing up standard operation procedures to set-up and maintenance of equipment(s); Ensuring the safety and security related issues in the laboratories; and Performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: a recognized degree in medical laboratory science or a related discipline; Part 1 Registration and a valid practicing certificate with the Medical Laboratory Technologist Board of HKSAR; Substantial professional working experience in medical laboratory settings, specifically in Anatomical and Cellular Pathology, Clinical Chemistry and Immunology, Haematology and Transfusion Science, or Medical Microbiology. Relevant teaching experience at tertiary level is advantages; and Strong communication skills and proficiency in using English as the medium of instruction.
