In this senior role, you will provide medical leadership and strategic guidance to lead the development and execution of medical strategies for our Vaccines business unit. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external experts to ensure scientific excellence and patient-focused outcomes. This role is based in Melbourne and offers a flexible working model, combining on-site collaboration expectations with flexible remote work options. Your role will be varied and will include: Develop and implement medical strategies and tactics to support business objectives. Engage with external experts to foster scientific dialogue and build strong relationships. Provide medical expertise for scientific submissions, promotional activities, and patient-focused initiatives. Lead cross-functional projects to ensure quality delivery and alignment with strategic goals. Stay updated on developments in relevant therapeutic areas, including disease landscapes and competitor activity. Ensure compliance with medical governance, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards. About you? To be successful in the role, you'll have a demonstrated track record in creating and executing complex pre-launch and launch medical strategies, ideally with scientific knowledge of the Vaccines space. You'll demonstrate a growth mindset in demonstrating ways to improve quality and processes, timelines and other business solutions. You’ll also bring: Advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs or a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry. Proven ability to engage with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders. Strong understanding of medical governance, regulatory requirements, and ethical practices. Experience in leading medical teams and vaccines, immunology, microbiology or infectious diseases. Applied understanding of the Australian reimbursement landscape. Expertise in transitioning between therapeutic areas and managing complex projects. Leadership experience in guiding and developing teams. Why join us?
