Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Senior Medical Officer at Clifton Medical Services – Cardiopulmonary Department Job Role / Responsibilities: You will be responsible for: Initial assessment, including patient history and physical examination Supervise exercise tolerance test (ETT) by monitoring ECG rhythm to instruct the technologist accordingly. Ongoing monitoring and care of patients in an outpatient setting according to the management plan. Perform physical examination and monitor’s patient progress vigilantly. Communicate progress of patients to concerned consultant as well as to the patient and / or family. Assess patient and take consent from patient for procedure performed as per the hospital protocols. Fill out the interpretation and conclusion data in the automated report of ETT in CPS-SAHL for reporting cardiologist of the day Perform emergency resuscitation (BLS/ACLS) Supervise Stress ECHO services. Responsible for continuous teaching and professional development of staff and colleagues. Requirements: You should have: MBBS degree and additional diploma, MCPS, FCPS-I or MRCP-I At least 3-5 years of relevant experience A valid license from Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) Ability to work independently and with teams Ability to work under pressure on different rotations/shifts Strong interpersonal and communication skills A valid BLS and ACLS certificate Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
