Responsibilities: You will be responsible to: perform patient’s initial evaluation, investigation, and management to maintain consistent high clinical quality and service standards perform physical examination, and monitor patient's progress vigilantly perform medical procedures under supervision and communicate the progress of patients to the concerned Consultant, as well as to the patient and/or family assess patients and perform and complete required paperwork by filling out relevant forms as per the hospital protocols participate in the management of patients under the supervision of consultants display effective and relevant documentation with quality record keeping of clinical notes, progress notes and discharge summaries as indicated continually work toward enhancing competencies in a clinical setting under the supervision of consultants and other faculty and staff do bedside teaching and training while actively participating in academic activities of the Emergency Department keep aware of infection control practices and follow the same in the workplace support department in administrative activities to ensure the smooth provision of services in assigned areas. Requirements: You should have: MBBS degree at least 5 years post-MBBS related experience with one year house-job a valid license from the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) ability to understand issues from the patient's perspective ability to make decisions by weighing several factors and to develop solutions that address the root cause of the problem and prevent recurrence ability to counsel patients and their families and to adapt content, style, tone and medium of communication to suit the target audience’s language, cultural background and level of understanding. able to work in shifts.
