Job Role / Responsibilities: You are required to: assess patient before and during chemotherapy administration enter chemotherapeutics in accordance with consultants’ advice prescribe post-chemotherapy medications perform outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including and not limited to Lumbar-Puncture, Intrathecal chemotherapy, Paracentesis, Bone Marrow aspiration and Trephine Biopsy participate in outpatient clinics and patient management under supervision ensure proper documentation of medical record and record keeping effectively communicate with patients and consultants actively participate in Journal clubs and continuous medical education work and coordinate with multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other allied health persons. perform patient’s initial evaluation, investigation, and management to maintain consistent high clinical quality and service standard. Requirements: MBBS degree and additional diploma or MCPS in relevant field preference At least 3 years of relevant experience A valid license from Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) Ability to work independently and with teams Ability to work under pressure on different rotations/shifts Strong interpersonal and communication skills A valid BLS certificate Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
Responsibilities
The Senior Medical Officer is responsible for assessing patients before and during chemotherapy, prescribing medications, and performing various outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
