As a Senior Medical Scribe with OrthoArizona, you will get to: * Work alongside physicians and mid-levels and transcribe all patient encounters accurately and record them correctly in the EMR * Type detailed notes, including History of Present Illness (HPI), physical examinations, imaging dictations, assessments, and treatment plans. * Perform data entry and input correct diagnosis codes as well as input office visit orders into the EMR per the direction of the Physician. * Provide scribe coverage at other clinics within the region for callouts and other planned paid time off. * Act as the primary trainer for all new hires, mentor and train all scribes on any process improvement measures, and updated company policy and procedures. * Provide basic administrative duties for physicians and mid-levels. * All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Accurate typing skills, minimum 50 words per minute. * Knowledge of medical terminology. Minimum Qualifications: * Seeking a Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field. * Working knowledge of skeletal anatomy. Responsibilities
