We're looking for an experienced Senior Medical Writer with expertise in ophthalmology to join our growing team. You'll contribute to the development of medical education and scientific publications that help healthcare professionals better understand latest data and improve patient care. The Opportunity As a Senior Medical Writer, you'll help improve scientific excellence and strategic insight across a range of ophthalmology projects. You'll develop high-quality, scientifically accurate materials — from peer-reviewed manuscripts and congress content to interactive educational resources and digital learning experiences. You'll collaborate with clients, other teams, and experts in the field to ensure our communications are not only scientifically robust but also engaging and relevant to real-world clinical practice. Your Responsibilities Lead the development of scientific publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slides) and medical education materials (training modules, slide decks, videos, infographics). Partner with clients and KOL's to provide strategic and high-impact scientific communications. Ensure accuracy, balance, and compliance with applicable guidelines (GPP, ICMJE, company SOPs). Provide clear scientific guidance and review for our teams, ensuring consistency across deliverables. Collaborate with client services, editorial, and creative teams to produce compelling outputs. Contribute to project planning, timelines, and new business development when needed. Mentor junior writers, promoting growth and knowledge sharing within the team. About You Life science degree. Experience in medical communications, with a track record in publications and medical education. In-depth understanding of ophthalmology (e.g., retina, glaucoma, dry eye, or rare eye diseases) and comfort with complex scientific data. Knowledge of current publication practices, GPP/ICMJE guidelines, and compliance standards. Client-facing skills — articulate, and collaborative.
