    We are partnering with a leading national retailer on a critical fixed-term contract role for a talented Menswear Designer. You will play a pivotal role in shaping collections that balance commercial appeal with fresh, relevant design innovation. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and design menswear collections aligned with the brand’s new strategic vision for trend-led volume fashion.
  • Collaborate closely with buying, merchandising, and production teams to ensure seamless collection execution.
  • Research and forecast key menswear trends, translating insights into commercially viable design concepts.
  • Create technical packages, detailed specifications, and presentation materials to support development and production.
  • Manage the critical path for menswear design development, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials that balance cost, quality, and sustainability goals.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design intent is maintained through to bulk production.
  • Mentor and support junior designers and cross-functional team members as required.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch to inform future design and assortment strategies.
  • Ensure all design activities adhere to brand guidelines and commercial targets.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Menswear Designer within a national or large retail environment, ideally with a strong portfolio demonstrating volume fashion collections.
  • Passionate about trends with a keen eye for translating global influences into commercially relevant product.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic team.
  • Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, fabrications, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
