WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The CATT Senior Mental Health Clinician provides and supports the team to provide mental health assessment and treatment to people who require urgent, short term or ongoing intensive community based mental health assessment, treatment and support.
The Senior Clinician rotates as the shift leader, this role is pivotal in running the shift and will be provide guidance and support to the team. The shift leader will also be the first point of escalation for the team. In addition, the CATT Senior Mental Health Clinician will play an active role in developing and supporting the orientation and learning of less experienced clinicians.
As a member of this multidisciplinary team your skills will also be utilised within the assessment, providing early discharge management, Mental Health Telephone Triage and Police Ambulance and Clinician Early Response (PACER).
