Job Description: Facilities Manager
Job Purpose:
To manage and oversee the day-to-day Hard Facilities Management operations across assigned project(s) , ensuring efficient service delivery, effective maintenance of all technical systems, and full compliance with contractual, regulatory, and HSE requirements, while supporting operational and financial objectives. The Facilities Manager plays a key role in strengthening client relationships, identifying opportunities for operational enhancements, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily Hard FM operations including MEP, HVAC, electrical, civil, and associated building systems to ensure uninterrupted serv
- ices.Ensure effective planning and execution of preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance activi
- ties.Monitor service delivery against SLAs and KPIs to maintain quality standards and client satisfac
- tion.Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and technicians, ensuring optimal manpower utilization and perform
- ance.Conduct regular site inspections and client walkthroughs, addressing issues proactively and ensuring timely resolution of compla
- ints.Act as the primary point of contact for clients at site level and maintain strong working relations
- hips.Oversee asset performance and ensure proper maintenance of systems such as BMS, chillers, generators, and HVAC equip
- ment.Review maintenance reports, logs, and technical data to ensure system efficiency and reliabi
- lity.Supervise subcontractors and specialized service providers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and quality stand
- ards.Monitor vendor performance, validate service reports, and support procurement and RFQ processes as requ
- ired.Support budget control by monitoring operational expenses and identifying cost optimization opportuni
- ties.Ensure efficient utilization of resources including manpower, materials, and equip
- ment.Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and statutory regulations across all operat
- ions.Implement and monitor Risk Assessments (RA), Method Statements (MS), and HIRA cont
- rols.Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks, and ensure closure of corrective act
- ions.Ensure timely submission of statutory and compliance reports, including Legionella repor
- ting.Coordinate fit-out activities by reviewing technical submissions, conducting inspections, and ensuring defect clo
- sure.Ensure all contractor activities comply with authority regulations and company stand
- ards.Maintain proper documentation including maintenance records, asset registers, and compliance rep
- orts.Prepare and submit periodic operational and performance reports to management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related
- field.10 +years of experience in Facilities Management or Maintenance, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or manageria
- l role.Strong experience in Hard FM operations within hospitality, commercial, or mixed-use develo
- pments.Sound technical knowledge of MEP systems and building infrastr
- ucture.Experience in managing subcontractors and service pro
- viders.Knowledge of CMMS/CAFM systems is pre
- ferred.Good understanding of HSE regulations and compliance requir
- ements.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving
