The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior MEP Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) materials and services, ensuring adherence to project specifications, budgets, and timelines. If you have a strong background in MEP procurement and a passion for delivering high-quality results in the construction industry, we would love to hear from you! Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procurement strategies for MEP materials and services that align with project goals and client requirements. - Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they meet the standards and specifications required for MEP works. - Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value for the company. - Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure the timely procurement of materials and services. - Monitor market trends and pricing changes to optimize procurement decisions. - Prepare and manage procurement documentation, including RFQs, contracts, and purchase orders. - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies during the procurement process. - Conduct regular market research to identify potential suppliers and maintain a competitive supplier base.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP procurement within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE. - Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and industry standards. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with suppliers and stakeholders effectively. - Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
