Senior Merchandiser - Development (Based at Ratmalana) MAS Intimates, the largest division of MAS Holdings, provides design and manufacturing solutions for leading global lingerie brands. With design hubs in Hong Kong, London, and Sri Lanka, and manufacturing facilities across Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, and Kenya, it offers a diverse product portfolio, including bras, briefs, shapewear, performance wear, sleepwear, and wearable tech. Intimates’ customers include Victoria’s Secret, Gap, and Calvin Klein. The division's innovation teams collaborate with universities and experts to deliver consumer-driven, technology-led solutions. Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the MAS Intimates, Ratmalana team as Senior Merchandiser - Development to follow through and manage activities within the entire process, whilst supporting management in building relationships, ensuring price right, timely and accurate information is maintained with all relevant parties in order to drive operational excellence and achievement of set business objectives Key Responsibilities Manage customer expectations by delivering tailored development solutions and ensuring on-time pricing and commercialization. Coordinate and oversee new development projects, ensuring alignment with internal and external deadlines. Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and achieve KPIs. Lead effective order management through timely procurement, raw material planning, PO fulfillment, and risk mitigation. Oversee costing, BOM, PLM, and salesforce updates, ensuring financial targets are met. Ensure timely and accurate sample development, fabric sourcing, and color approval processes. Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, MOQ/MCQ, and raw material sourcing in collaboration with fabric technologists. Champion lean initiatives and Kaizen projects to support continuous improvement and departmental goals. Qualifications 3-4 years of relevant work experience Degree/ Management qualification in a relevant field Professional - Fully Qualified Prior knowledge in bulk order execution is highly advantageous Mathematics background Excellent communication and negotiation skills Knowledge on Product Development, styles and samples Team work and collaboration- ability to engage with individuals from cross functional teams Relationship building Planning and organization skills Detail oriented and attention to detail
