QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• 3+ years of lending experience within the financial industry, ideally in small business financing
• Proven ability to interpret financial statements and evaluate credit risk
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite and loan management software
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong commitment to ethical practices and compliance with all regulatory standards

The Underwriter will collaborate closely with internal teams to review, analyze, and assess merchant applications. This role requires sound judgment, a strong grasp of credit risk principles, and the ability to make informed funding decisions.
