Description
About Us CDK Global is a leading provider of cloud-based software to dealerships and Original Equipment Manufacturers (“OEMs”) across automotive and related industries. The Company’s cloud-based, software as a service (“SaaS”) platform enables dealerships to manage their end-to-end business operations including the acquisition, sale, financing, insuring, repair, and maintenance of vehicles. By automating and streamlining critical workflows, the integrated platform of modern solutions enables dealers to sell and service more vehicles by creating simple and convenient experiences for customers and improves their financial and operational performance. Responsibilities & Essential Functions Lead hands-on design and build of complex copilots in Copilot Studio (multi-topic experiences, orchestration, action chaining). Define conversation architecture, prompt strategies, and reusable patterns; review and mentor other builders. Integrate copilots with enterprise systems using Power Automate, Dataverse, APIs, and approved connectors. Design, build, and maintain custom connectors and integration actions (authentication, connection references, error handling). Administer and steward Copilot/Power Platform environments: roles/access, environment strategy (Dev/QA/UAT/Prod), solution packaging, and release readiness. Implement and troubleshoot governance controls—including DLP connector policies (Business/Non-business/Blocked) and connector allowlists—and explain/resolve how they affect copilot agent actions and Power Automate flows. Own ALM and deployment practices for copilots and related solutions (solutions, pipelines, versioning, rollback), including Harness.io or approved CI/CD tooling. Monitor production copilots and integrations; lead troubleshooting, incident response, and root-cause analysis to improve reliability. Partner with security and platform teams on identity, secrets management, and compliance requirements. Follow all CDK Global policies and procedures. Complete all mandatory assigned compliance tasks and acknowledgements. Meet or exceed all performance expectations. Required Job Skills & Qualification Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience delivering production Power Platform solutions, including advanced Copilot Studio builds. Advanced Copilot Studio expertise (conversation orchestration, generative tuning, actions/plugins, analytics-driven optimization). Deep integration experience with Power Automate, Dataverse, REST APIs, and custom connectors. Ability to administer and steward Copilot/Power Platform environments (roles, environments, managed environments, monitoring). Deep understanding of Power Platform DLP connector policies (Business/Non-business/Blocked) and how DLP impacts Copilot Studio actions, Power Automate flows, and connector availability. Custom connector lifecycle knowledge (design, security review, deployment across environments, connection references/environment variables, and policy alignment). ALM/DevOps expertise for Power Platform solutions (solutions, pipelines/CI-CD, versioning, rollback) — Harness.io or equivalent. Identity and security fundamentals (Entra ID, service principals/managed identities, secrets management). Technical leadership: mentoring, standards, design reviews, and incident/problem management. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Advanced certifications (PL-600, PL-400, AI-102, SC-300) or equivalent experience. Experience defining governance models/CoE practices (standards, intake, reusable templates, enablement). Experience with Azure OpenAI/Azure AI services and advanced retrieval/knowledge patterns. Experience implementing monitoring/telemetry and operational runbooks for production copilots.
