Responsibilities

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

Mariner is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Dynamics 365 solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advising clients, developing technical strategies, and delivering scalable solutions that align with business objectives. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE, F&O, or BC), as well as strong leadership in guiding teams and stakeholders through successful digital transformations.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, ensuring best practices and scalability.
  • Design, configure, and customize Dynamics 365 modules to meet complex business needs.
  • Provide strategic input on system architecture, integration strategies, and data migration plans.
  • Develop and optimize business process flows, automation, and reporting within Dynamics 365.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to gather requirements and define project roadmaps.
  • Ensure seamless integration with third-party applications, legacy systems, and Microsoft services (Power BI, Power Automate, Azure Functions, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and business analysts.
  • Lead technical troubleshooting, system enhancements, and performance optimizations.
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops and training sessions to drive user adoption.

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

  • 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 consulting, implementation, and customization.
  • Expertise in at least one of the following Dynamics 365 modules: Customer Engagement (CE), Finance & Operations (F&O), or Business Central (BC).
  • Strong background in solution architecture, system integrations, and data migration.
  • Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Azure, .NET, JavaScript, C#, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level clients in industries such as finance, healthcare, retail, or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of security roles, workflows, and business process automation in Dynamics 365.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (preferred but not required).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
