Description

We are seeking a highly skilled MicroStrategy Operations and Development Support Lead with extensive experience in managing and supporting MicroStrategy infrastructures alongside Cloudera and Informatica. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BI platform administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for large-scale enterprise environments, particularly in public sector projects in the Gulf region.
This role demands exceptional problem-solving abilities, hands-on experience in MicroStrategy administration, and strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders, technical teams, and government entities.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Experience: 8+ years in BI platform support, with at least 5 years in MicroStrategy administration.

Responsibilities

MicroStrategy Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee the operations, administration, and performance tuning of MicroStrategy environments.
  • Manage user security, role-based access, and platform configurations for high availability.
  • Ensure optimal performance and scalability of MicroStrategy applications.

ETL & Data Integration Support

  • Collaborate with Cloudera and Informatica teams to ensure seamless data integration and BI reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize ETL workflows using Informatica and ensure smooth data ingestion into Cloudera.
  • Monitor data pipelines and query performance, proactively resolving issues.

Incident Management & Operations Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for MicroStrategy-related operational issues, resolving incidents in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and underlying infrastructure.
  • Implement best practices for platform stability, upgrades, and patch management.

Stakeholder Communication & Governance

  • Engage with public sector clients to understand reporting needs and ensure data governance policies are followed.
  • Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and infrastructure teams to maintain system reliability.
  • Prepare and present performance reports, incident resolutions, and optimization strategies to stakeholders.
