WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE EXCITING
This role is pivotal in accelerating our revenue growth and success in the Mid-Market space. The Senior Mid-Market Account Executive will be responsible for delivering exceptional results within their territory through building a robust pipeline of upper mid-market opportunities, delivering a strong prospect experience throughout the sales lifecycle, and in so doing expanding CloudPay’s market share in the Mid-market segment.
The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the payroll and HR technology landscape, have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and have a strong will to win in a dynamic and high-growth environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Growth through Sales Excellence:
- Meet or exceed revenue targets at a Senior level
- Drive pipeline growth through lead generation and active prospecting, working to KPI’s
- Develops market penetration plans to bring new ideas on how we can target best best-performing markets
- Leads high-level negotiations in and outside of the territory with major customers with extensive objection-handling knowledge
- Qualify new business opportunities through customer acquisition and discovery
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand CloudPay’s customer base.
- Collaborate with the team BDR & Marketing to build a strong pipeline
- Contribute to CloudPay’s Go-To-Market through capturing Voice of the Customer
- Cross-functional collaboration to develop a compelling value proposition
- Provide sales development coaching and mentorship to junior team members
Partner engagement:
- Work independently and with Strategic Alliances to build and leverage partner relationships in the HCM ecosystem
- Build and leverage mid-market specific partnerships to accelerate pipeline growth
- Provide feedback to the product team about market demands and customer preferences – this role plays a key role in aligning sales efforts and market opportunities
- Own the Workday partnership for Mid-Market segment in the UK & Europe
Market Insights & Industry presence:
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to stay informed about payroll and payments market dynamics.
- Attend industry functions such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE
- Extensive experience selling full sales cycle, closing deals $100k and above, preferably in the payroll, HR or SaaS industry
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and workforce management solutions
- Proven track record and demonstrated success in closing mid-market deals with strong, consistent delivery against revenue targets with expert influencing and negotiating skills
- Direct experience working with mid-market clients, selling into functional owners as well as c-suite
- Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Bring extensive knowledge of MEDDPIC and demonstrate ability to hold high level discovery
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build long-term relationships with key senior stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
- Ability to analyze market trends, customer data, and sales metrics to make informed decisions.
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present complex solutions.
- Ability to think strategically, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
