On behalf of our Accounting client, Procom is searching for a Senior Mobile App Developer - Android for an 11-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SENIOR MOBILE APP DEVELOPER - ANDROID - JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Senior Android Software Engineer to help shape how client designs, crafts, operates, and runs mobile applications. The role involves working on large-scale projects from inception to production, with a focus on delivering high-value applications, services, and APIs to customers.

SENIOR MOBILE APP DEVELOPER - ANDROID - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 7+ years of experience in mobile development (Android), building consumer-facing apps
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android SDK
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership and mentoring abilities
• Basic understanding of AI concepts

SENIOR MOBILE APP DEVELOPER - ANDROID – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Ability to incorporate AI technology trends into development practices
• Familiarity with accessible design principles
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Experience with stakeholder engagement

• Drive large-scale projects to completion, from inception to production
